Julie’s practice focuses on the defense of insurance carriers in insurance bad faith litigation, the defense of property owners and contractors in personal injury lawsuits, and the defense of landlords and property managers in habitability claims. Julie’s considerable courtroom experience extends through trial, verdict, and appeal. Her clients appreciate her practical advice, her communication, her tenacity, and her ability to help them achieve a successful outcome in a cost-effective manner. Julie previously worked as a partner at Becherer Kannett & Schweitzer.

Julie was recognized as a Northern California “Rising Star” Super Lawyer in 2020 and 2021. Julie was also named as a Northern California Super Lawyer in 2022, 2023, and 2024. No more than 2.5 percent of California lawyers are named to Super Lawyers’ list of ”Rising Stars.“ Julie was also honored as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Northern California in 2020 and 2021.

 

Outside of the courtroom, Julie enjoys playing water polo with her local masters’ team, attending Hawaiian music festivals, and chaperoning school field trips for her two daughters.
