The firm is led by attorneys Emily Bergstrom, Julie Hayashida, and Alex Catalona who bring more than 50 years of litigation experience to the firm. Founded on January 1, 2020, the majority of BHC’s attorneys and other professionals came directly from the longstanding and highly respected Bay Area litigation defense firm, Becherer, Kannett & Schweitzer (BKS), which wound down operations at the end of 2019. Founding BKS partners Patrick Becherer, Mark Kannett and Lori Schweitzer are now of counsel to BHC, where they continue to provide their considerable expertise and experience to BHC’s clients.
