Mark Kannett resolves complex problems and disputes. His extensive background in many areas of the law and his success in negotiation and trial is sought after by clients with difficult and high-risk cases. His litigation practice emphasizes mass and toxic tort defense, environmental litigation, complex insurance coverage, real estate and construction litigation, professional liability, and general commercial litigation.
Mark’s product liability expertise has led to his involvement in numerous types of environmental and toxic tort litigation involving property and personal injury claims. He has litigated and coordinated complex multiparty actions, developing efficient and successful approaches to resolving disputes. Mark has also represented professionals including attorneys, accountants, and real estate and insurance brokers. Mark previously worked as an attorney at Becherer Kannett & Schweitzer.
Mark has litigated a wide range of coverage disputes. His environmental coverage practice began in the mid-1980s and has included complex, multisite environmental coverage litigation on behalf of primary and excess carriers. In addition, he serves as national counsel in litigation across the nation and manages the firm’s toxic tort litigation.
