Linda has focused her practice on the litigation of civil claims on the defense side for more than 35 years. She is a highly experienced trial attorney with more than 25 cases tried to verdict in California courts including the counties of Alameda, San Francisco, Colusa, El Dorado, Marin, San Mateo, Los Angles, Contra Costa and Santa Clara. She is admitted to practice before the Northern, Eastern and Central District Federal Courts. Linda previously worked as an attorney at Becherer Kannett & Schweitzer.
In 1996, Linda began defending clients in asbestos litigation and she has tried two asbestos cases to verdict obtaining defense verdicts in both on behalf of her supplier client. In the asbestos arena, she has tried more than 20 cases to successful settlement. She continues to practice in asbestos litigation on behalf of premises, supplier and contractor clients.
Since 2006, Linda has been a member of the First District Appellate Project panel for court appointment to handle juvenile dependency appeals for indigent parents. In this part of her practice she has filed dozens of appeals and writs on behalf of her clients.
