Susan Beneville litigates complex matters involving product liability, business disputes, professional malpractice and insurance bad faith. Throughout more than twenty years of practice, Susan has managed the defense of cases involving multiple parties, class action and multidistrict coordination. Through this experience, she has developed specialized skills in managing cases with significant motions practice and challenging discovery and document review issues. In addition to her work at the trial level, Susan has represented several clients through the appellate process. Susan previously worked as an attorney at Becherer Kannett & Schweitzer.
In 2000, building on her years of legal experience and management of litigation teams, Susan founded “Firm Fundamentals,” a specialized law firm professional development and training resource, which focuses on teaching core litigation skills to less-experienced attorneys. In addition, Susan is an adjunct professor at Santa Clara Law School, where she teaches student professional skills and oversees individual externships.
Susan is an active supporter of organizations promoting civil rights for the LGBT community and is a former board member of Pride Law Fund in San Francisco. Susan is also an active member of her church.
